The general goal was to modernize the outdated logo and, as proposed by me, to add a greater degree of uniqueness to the brandmark. It's a term I often use when assessing the state of specific brand assets.
These were the specific goals I set to myself initially - to preserve the general concept of the logo; to simplify the existing colour scheme; to modernize and personalize the brandmark; to allow better application of the logo in small sizes.
